So as the title says I've been working hard with Marco in creating the radio royal web site. It's a complete overhaul for them. At first it started off as a redesign but during the process they decided to go for a full overhaul including the backend system, so it was then I called on Marco to help out. Hopefully the launch of the site will go ahead on the 22nd of October. A lot of thanks needs to go to Marco for stepping in to work with me as I was at a bit of a loss when it came to many things the radio had started requesting. Next step after that will be a redesign of EC which I have started playing about with a few ideas. The build of the new site will be a push for me into the working side of php and Marco will be acting as a mentor for me as this will be my first attempt on my own... very daunting for me, but I must learn PHP it's been a while since I said I'd teach myself it!
So hopefully in the coming months there will be big changes again, can't wait!!
Working hard, or hardly working
Why hello my good friends, another very long delay since my last post, nothing new then sadly :( Loads has been happening since I last posted, my West Highland Way attempt failed sadly. Many unforseen issues got in our way and we were unable to continue after 3 days. It was a might sadly day to give up, however the choice was not made lightly we had reached a point which would be the last place we could be picked up for another couple of days so made the decision to call it a day there. The challenge to complete is still there and one day I hope to try it again, certainly wont be taking my full pack each day! After my attempt I'd advise everyone to use the baggage carrying service, especially if you're not use to walking long distances and you're camping all the way up.So as the title says I've been working hard with Marco in creating the radio royal web site.
